If you were put in a sitation where you had to lie in order to save another persons feelings from getting hurt, would you lie? Why would you, Why wouldn't you?
Well, personally i think it would depend on the situation. If i were to lie SIMPLY to save someone's feelings from getting hurt, then i probably wouldn't do it because in the end i know that lying is wrong. But that doesn't make it easy to say the truth if i knew it would hurt someone. So, my solution, compromise; if it's not crucial that they know it all, i would keep some of the truth to myself, to avoid any disappointments.
For instance, i'm a very blunt person lol, but i intentionally avoid being rudely blunt. Why? Well, because it's rude and i'd rather say nothing than say something impolite. SO, when someone asks me what i think about something/anything, i say what's on my mind, or i give them an indirect answer.. Anything but lie about it :p .. Oh, and keep in mind.. I don't know the proper daleel, but i do know that it's alright (not 7aram) to lie when you're trying to make peace between two people, which is actually quite interesting.. So we can't argue about that..

In order to do something right, sometimes we must, well, do something wrong.
